I am a musician and studio engineer based in Edinburgh, Scotland. As an engineer, I currently do freelance and on location recording, mixing and mastering. I have worked with a range of bands and artists such as Amateur Cult, Earl of Hell, Acidsaurus Bong, Melted Messiah, Secret Admirer and Sarah MacGilliivrey. From 2019 - 2024 I built and ran the Secret Basement Studio, a small recording studio in Leith. In 2024, the Amateur Cult song, 'Eyes', for which I was producer and engineer, was voted No. 9 of the Top 100 Songs from Scotland in 2024 by The Herald Scotland.

 

As a musician I have produced albums under my own name and others such as Temple of the Dead Moth. I currently do vocals and guitar for Acidsaurus Bong and play bass in Amateur Cult. Bands I have previously played in include Norman Silver and the Gold, False Bliss and Mariachi Death Squad.
